"THE Top 4 must have wedding signs if you're on a budget (in my opinion)!"

laceygracedesign

When planning your wedding, staying within your budget can sometimes be challenging and the main things that you will need soon add up, venue, food, entertainment, suits, flowers and of course your wedding and bridesmaids dresses are just a few of the more expensive things you will probably need to spend your hard earned cash on!

Well today we will be talking about essential wedding signs that you will need for your big day. When you have sorted out all the main details of your day and everything is planned, its now time to start looking at the smaller details, these are the details that will make a huge visual impact on your special day... the 'ohhhhhs and the arghhhhhs' of your guests as they stand and admire your venue when they arrive.

So on that note, in my opinion Number 1 has to be a nice big Welcome Sign, large enough to be seen and clearly located to let your guests know they are in the right place for your special day.

Maybe you are looking at a beautiful simple acrylic sign with a back ground colour to match your bridesmaid dresses, or possibly a less expensive but equally as beautiful card design with pretty ribbons with diamante hearts? There are lots of options and routes you can go down, if you have something particular in mind but your not sure if I can make it.... Just ask....

Number 2 has got to be an 'Order of the Day' Sign or a 'Wedding Timeline' and I'm not talking order of service, I'm talking a brief breakdown of times that different events will happen throughout the day... Let your guests know your schedule for the day, it will not only take the pressure off of you but it will also help to keep everyone organised.

Things you could consider putting on your timeline would be for example:

  1. Ceremony

  2. 2pm Photos, Fizz and Fun

  3. 3.45pm Dinner and Speeches

  4. 8pm Cake and First Dance

  5. 11.45pm Carriages

Keep it brief and place it somewhere that everyone will see as they walk past, that way people can see at a glance what they are supposed to be doing and when.

Number 3 is an extremely important sign and that is the Seating Plan, let your guests know which table they are seated at and who they will be sitting with... A nice big A1 sized sign so that your guests can find themselves quickly and easily without having to stand and search for their names.

And whilst we are talking about seating plans, Number 4 in my opinion is the Table Numbers / Names... Give every table a name or number to help guests know where to go and to help the staff if there are any dietary needs.

If you find at the end of your planning you have a bit of spare cash, you may consider a beautiful sign for the guest books, favours and drinks to let people know where they need to head to when signing their congratulations and to take a gift.

I also make beautiful menus for your tables and place names for individual guests so they know which seat they will be sitting at and what is on the menu for today.

The list of ideas is endless, acrylics, wood, card, rustic, pretty, romantic! But if you do have something in mind and your not sure if I make it, Please just call me or drop me an email, I am more than happy to discuss your ideas with you because I love a new challenge!!
